About us

Our vision is to provide keys to understanding our environment in a fun, scientific way.

Passionate about science and committed to the environment and the climate, we offer activities to raise awareness of environmental and climate issues, for citizens, schoolchildren, associations, public authorities or companies.

Who are we?

Frederic Conrotte

Chairman ESE

Passionate about science and education, I’m convinced that training in environmental issues is part of the solution for a sustainable future.

Marie-Alix Dalle

ESE Secretary, SparkLab.lu

Passionate about science, I seize every opportunity to share my enthusiasm and communicate on subjects that are close to my heart. Through SparkLab, I create fun, hands-on workshops to help people understand the world around us.

Julien Gannard

Treasurer ESE

As a founding member of the association, my commitment is helping to raise awareness of frescoes in general, education about climate change and biodiversity loss in particular, and solutions to remedy the situation. The approach is scientific and rational, in line with my engineering background.

Xavier Turquin

Transition.lu

As a strategy and innovation consultant with over 20 years’ experience, I’ve had the opportunity to facilitate strategy workshops for managers, enabling them to project themselves 10, 20 or 30 years into the future of their company. Today, however, the notion of “future” is being called into question, and new skills and approaches are needed.

I founded transition.lu, a societal impact company, to help companies understand new issues, rethink their business model and take action to build more resilient organizations in a world where change is the new norm.

Tom Haas

Ëmweltschoul

With a degree in Political Science and Environmental Science and Management, I want to raise awareness of sustainability issues in Luxembourg through my“Ëmweltschoul” project. In the years to come, we’ll be facing major challenges that can only be solved by all of us. That’s why it’s so important for children and adults to understand how to live sustainably. My aim is to explain climate change, the biodiversity crisis and the circular economy to everyone.

Cécile Havard

SOS Faim

Cécile Havard works for SOS Faim and proposes Agri-Alim and Food frescoes.

Sylvain Chery

Agile Partner

As an entrepreneur, co-founder and manager of an IT services company since 2004, I first set out to help a number of Luxembourg companies adopt Agile values and methods. Since 2016, I’ve been committed to CSR and am now developing an expertise in Responsible Digital (NR). In this context, I run Fresques du Numérique (Digital Frescoes) and, with myAgile Partner colleagues, I support companies in their NR actions (digital service LCA, eco-design, accessibility, etc.).
